Christmas At Home!

We were so thankful to have Christmas at home as we had totally prepared ourselves to spend Christmas in the hospital. What a great gift in itself. Since getting home on the 23rd, a lot has taken place.

We had all of the Shelton extended family to our house on the 24th for a big Christmas dinner. Max was so thrilled to see all of his cousins, aunts, uncles and of course his Tata and Papa. We had a wonderful dinner that Abbie and I did NOTHING to prepare for! It was a great time spent with family, laughing, eating, opening presents and playing cards.

On Christmas Day, we spent it at home with just Abbie, Max, Koda and I. We all enjoyed exchanging presents and stockings as well as having a quiet day at home. It was perfect!!!

Boxing Day was another day spent at home. We are finding that Max has become quite a "home body" like his mom! I think that his experience being in the hospital for a week has made him miss his home. At least for now, he is not excited to leave the house and if we do, it isn't long before he asks to go home. I certainly think he feels safe and comfortable at home and once again, I can't really blame him!

In summary, we have had a great Christmas together as a family. And the last one with just the 3 of us before the new arrival joins our family in the next few weeks!!!

If we didn't see you over the course of this Christmas season, we hope you had a Merry Christmas and we wish you a Happy New Year.

Here are a few Christmas pics (more in a separate post)...
