We are in Edmonton now and have checked into our hotel, where we will stay until the 18th when we have a room at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH). So far this is the exact same process as the last time we were here (February 2013) which has brought back a few memories already, however this trip is already going way better than last time!
Abbie and I were just recalling how last time, we drove up much later at night, I made a wrong turn resulting in a 20-25 minute detour as Max was FREAKING out in the back seat despite Abbie's attempts to cheer him up... This time consisted of some sleeping, some iPad watching and voila... Arrived in Edmonton! And I made certain not to make the wrong turn that I made 2 years ago!
We have just eaten dinner and are just relaxing at the hotel room. It will be early to bed as we know what tomorrow brings... a marathon of appointments, tests and visits with various medical professionals.
Thank you for all of your wonderful messages today via text, email and a few successful comments on the blog!!! Yay.
Here are few recent pics of Max below to start this journey off.
